Privacy Policy

Local vehicle data

AutoVizor stores vehicle details, service records, reminders, receipts, documents, and ownership-cost information locally on your device by default. AutoVizor does not operate a cloud service that receives or stores those records.

Sign in

You can use AutoVizor without an account through a This Device profile. You may optionally link Apple or Google to that profile, or sign in to a separate local profile. Apple or Google processes authentication under its own privacy policy. AutoVizor uses the resulting account identifier only to select a local profile; it does not use sign-in information for advertising or tracking.

Optional AI features

If you choose to add your own Anthropic API key and enable AI receipt extraction or remote voice parsing, the selected receipt text, images, or transcript needed for that request is sent to Anthropic. Audio recordings are not uploaded. These features are optional and can be disabled in the app.

Permissions

Camera and photo-library access are used only when you choose to capture or attach vehicle and receipt photos. Microphone and speech-recognition access are used only when you choose spoken record entry.

Your choices

You can sign out without deleting local data. You can permanently erase the current profile and its linked identity metadata from Account → Erase AutoVizor Data. For help or privacy questions, contact support.
